I am a motivated and dedicated Licensed Independent Social Worker and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with experience providing compassionate, evidence-based counseling to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health and substance use concerns. My clinical background includes working with adolescents and adults in diverse settings, where I have conducted comprehensive assessments, developed individualized treatment plans, facilitated individual and group counseling, and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to support client recovery and wellness.
My approach is grounded in person-centered, trauma-informed care, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and other strengths-based practices. I support clients with anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, co-occurring disorders, life transitions, and process addictions.
Let’s take the next step together. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and you do not have to take it alone. My goal is to offer a welcoming space where you feel heard and comfortable being yourself. Whenever you feel ready, I would be glad to walk alongside you as you move toward healing and growth. You are welcome to schedule an appointment.

"One thing that I know from personal and professional experience is that there is room for two truths at once: there is doing the best you can with what you have been given, and there is still room to grow, heal, and make meaningful changes."
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
You don’t have to wait until you’re in crisis to go to therapy, and you don’t have to have the right words to explain what you’re feeling. Sometimes, healing looks like setting a boundary. Sometimes, it looks like resting instead of pushing through. Sometimes, it’s recognizing an old pattern in the moment when you would have missed it before.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Early in therapy, we will focus on building trust, exploring what brings you here, and identifying goals together. There is no pressure to share everything or have all the answers right away. Each session can offer space for insight, difficult emotions, or simply time to reflect.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My work is guided by empathy, compassion, trust, and respect. I also believe in on-going learning and reflecting so I can offer care that is ethical, inclusive, and responsive to each person’s needs.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe that each person’s story shapes how they move through the world, so I meet every client with curiosity, openness, and no judgment. I work to build trust so the client feels safe, heard, and understood. I meet people where they are, honor their strengths, and support them in choosing their own goals and path forward. I believe everyone can grow and heal.
