Get to know Anna

Why did you decide to become a counselor?

I fell in love with the job while working as a case manager and I just knew I had found my calling in life.

What types of clients do you work with best?

I think in general, clients who are motivated for change are always the most engaging but I don't think I really have a type.

What’s one thing you wish all clients knew?

How strong they really are.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

Identify the key issues in their life and a mini game plan on how we want to approach them.

Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?

I really like the culture and flexibility they offer.
