About Alicia

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 12 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s most difficult challenges. I specialize in helping clients work through trauma, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, anger, anxiety, depression, and borderline personality disorder. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward healing and growth.

I earned my Master’s in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College. I’m trained in dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to each person’s strengths, needs, and goals.

Building trust, fostering resilience, and supporting lasting change are at the heart of my work. I believe every individual has the capacity to heal and thrive, and my role is to guide that process with empathy, honesty, and respect. Together, we’ll create a path that aligns with your values and vision for your life.

Get to know Alicia

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I have a passion for helping others navigate through life.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I strive to work effectively with all types of clients.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Healing in therapy is not linear. Therapy is difficult, but that is where you begin to grow.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

In our first session, we will take a lot of time getting to know you and what brought you to therapy. We will talk about your goals and what you would like to gain from therapy. We will spend as much time as needed to create a safe place for healing.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

I value autonomy, compassion, and saftey. I strive to create a safe space for my clients to heal.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I simply ask them what they would like to gain from therapy and what they would like in a therapist.
