This has been a fantastic experience. I feel relieved every time I talk to my professional. It's something I wish I would have done sooner.

Welcome, I’m glad you’re here. Starting therapy is a brave first step toward getting support. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, self-doubt, identity questions, or the demands of daily life, you’re not alone.

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I work with young adults through mid-life navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and questions of identity and purpose.

My approach is collaborative, solution-focused, and grounded in a decolonizing, anti-pathologizing lens. I don’t view you as broken—your emotions and behaviors are meaningful responses to your experiences.

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University and use a holistic, eclectic approach tailored to each client. I integrate evidence-based practices—including CBT, REBT, and mindfulness—to support your growth, resilience, and day-to-day well-being.

I bring a culturally responsive, inclusive lens to my work and proudly support LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients. My role is to walk alongside you—helping you feel understood, empowered, and free to live a meaningful, authentic life.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. I would be honored to support you.

Get to know Elizabeth

What’s one thing you wish all clients knew?

I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership. Together, we work toward your personal goals, using therapy as a space to explore, grow, and create meaningful change.

What inspires you?

I’m inspired by the quote, “Because you are alive, everything is possible” – Thich Nhat Hanh. I love the idea that anyone is capable of change and that small steps can lead to meaningful improvements in life.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy and your reasons for seeking support at this time. I’ll gather background information through an intake process and explore your goals and what you hope to achieve.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

I aim to understand why you’re seeking therapy now, what you’ve already tried, and what has or hasn’t worked. We’ll clarify your expectations for therapy and determine whether we’re a good fit to work together.

What do you do for fun/on your time off?

I enjoy spending time outdoors—whether it’s at the beach or simply walking in nature. I also like reading, listening to music, watching movies, and exploring creative outlets. These activities help me stay inspired.
