About Mallory

I am Mallory, a licensed social worker and therapist with a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) and a Doctor of Social Work (D.S.W.). My path into this work was shaped by a genuine belief that every person deserves compassionate, individualized care—and that the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the most powerful vehicles for change. I've worked across clinical, educational, and community-based settings, which has deepened my understanding of the social, structural, and personal forces that shape mental health.

My practice is grounded in evidence-based frameworks, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy—I tailor my work to what each client actually needs, drawing on both advanced clinical training and years of close listening.

Whether you're in the depths of a depressive episode, exhausted by anxiety, learning to live with a bipolar diagnosis, or simply carrying more than you should have to carry alone—you deserve support that takes you seriously. When you're ready, I hope you'll reach out and schedule an appointment. That first step is often the hardest, and I'll meet you there.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

Rapport building, empathetic assessment.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

Experience with trauma informs my practice. My values include compassion, empathy, and genuine concern for a person's well-being.
