About Angela
I am a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) with 22 years of experience supporting adults through life transitions, grief, anxiety, identity concerns, and emotional overwhelm. I specialize in working with college-age clients and adults navigating academic pressure, loss, and major life changes. My work is grounded in clinical expertise, compassion, and a deep respect for each client’s lived experience.
I hold a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Northeastern University. My therapeutic approach is holistic and relational, blending cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic practices, and strength-based interventions. I focus on helping clients build practical skills while fostering insight, resilience, and emotional balance.
I believe meaningful change happens when insight is paired with action. In our work together, I provide a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard and empowered to move forward. If you are ready to build resilience, reclaim agency, and navigate life with greater clarity, I invite you to schedule a session.

"Through my personal encounters with life’s greatest challenges, I understand how trauma and loss can shape our lives. I am dedicated to helping others empower themselves and transform their pain into strength by mastering the skills needed to build a renewed sense of self."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
While in another profession, I kept being asked by clients if I had a private practice for counseling. People seemed to respond positively to me in that role, so I went back to school to become a therapist so I could support people in a more meaningful way.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who want to be part of the process who hold a "we're in this together" energy.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients know that everyone has the potential to heal, empowerment is accessible to everyone, and growth starts the moment you realize you have the power to choose differently.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
The initial meeting is about creating a space where you feel seen and heard. We will focus on establishing a non-judgmental environment where you can speak freely, discussing what brought you here and what you hope to change, and identifying your strengths.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is informed by a deep belief in human potential. I value the process of unlearning—the idea that we aren't stuck with the scripts we were given. I’ve seen that when people are given a safe space to reframe their story and identify their existing strengths, they don't just 'get better,' they transform. I work as a therapist because I love witnessing the moment a client realizes they have the power to choose a different path.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I don't fit clients into a treatment model; I build a model around each client. By combining a deep respect for their existing strengths with a flexible range of tools—from 'soft challenges' of old ideas to active reframing—collaboratively, we create a path that feels authentic to their specific goals and personality.
