Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a therapist because I believe people are deserving of a space where they can be fully seen and understood. Like many in this field, I was drawn to the work because I wanted to be the person I once needed—someone who could sit with the hard stuff without judgment, who could help make sense of what was overwhelming, and who could hold hope when it felt out of reach. It’s a privilege to walk alongside people as they navigate life’s complexities, reconnect with their inner wisdom, and move toward healing and growth.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with clients who are ready—or even just willing—to explore what’s going on beneath the surface. You'll find the most healing happens when you feel safe enough to be your true self—or even just open to sharing honestly, at your own pace.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I'm most excited to work with those who are ready to take a closer look at their inner world—whether they're navigating a life transition, carrying long-held stress or grief, or simply feeling disconnected from themselves. I especially enjoy working with those who are starting to question old patterns, reevaluate their values, or seek a deeper sense of meaning.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
There’s no “right” way to do therapy. You don’t have to show up perfectly or have the right words—you just have to show up as you are.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I choose to practice at Thriveworks because they share my commitment to providing accessible, client-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What inspires you?
I’m inspired by the resilience of people, moments of growth, clarity, and self-compassion that emerge when someone dares to face their inner world.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In our first session, clients can expect to answer some questions that will help me understand more about them, what’s bringing them to therapy, and what their goals are.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I aim to create a space where someone feels comfortable, heard, and not rushed. I want to understand what brings them in, what they're hoping for, and begin building a strong, collaborative relationship from the start.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
Clients should know that I aim to show up with warmth, curiosity, and zero judgment. I understand it can take time to feel comfortable opening up, and that’s completely okay. I meet people where they are and work collaboratively, with compassion and flexibility, to support their goals at their own pace.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I’m happiest when I get to go to the movies, visit one of my favorite restaurants, spend time with friends and family, or unwind with some oil painting.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
I find a lot of joy in simple, everyday moments — whether it's treating myself to bubble tea or enjoying a quiet night at the movies. Those small experiences help me stay present and connected to what matters.
