Get to know Lindsay

Why did you decide to become a counselor?

Because people fascinate me and I love being a part of cultivating self awareness of why they do what they do (good, bad or indifferent).

What type of clients are you most excited to work with?

Individuals who love to self reflect.

What’s one thing you wish all clients knew?

They have more power over their thoughts and feelings than they realize.

What inspires you?

I'm most inspired on the back end of attitude checks for gratitude.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

A sense of comfort and objectivity with at least a tangible solution to mitigate some of the distress that prompted them to seek therapy.

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

Create a sense of comfort and decrease any of the stigma they may be feeling about seeking/needing therapy.

What do you do for fun/on your time off?

Sports mom and all the logistics that go with having two very athletic sons, gardening, hike.

What’s one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?

My role as a mother is first and foremost! I always show up for my children.
