Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I decided to become a counselor because I wanted to help others and highlight the importance of working to improve one's mental health.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with adolescents and adults. I work well with people varying in race, gender identity, and sexual orientation.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am most excited to work with adolescents. I feel that is important that this population has someone that can hold space for them even if they feel no one is listening.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish all clients knew how much better they will feel just by talking to someone about their problems. Many people feel they are a burden for expressing their emotions, but it is simply not true!
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I chose to practice at Thriveworks because I have seen how effective a community of amazing clinicians can be in treating clients. It is important to have colleagues that can help treat clients in an ethical manner.

My family inspires me to continue to thrive in my career.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and non-judgmental environment within the first session.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I would like to accomplish a foundation for our therapeutic relationship. I would like to get to know my client for more than what they are coming into treatment for.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
Clients should know that I will always prioritize their needs and concerns from their first session up until our last.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I love to spend time with my family and friends, as well as my dog on my time off. I love to dance and I have been playing the violin since childhood. I listen to many types of music and enjoy watching movies and TV shows.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
One thing that defines me is my kindness. I have always been regarded as a kind, pure person and I take great pride in showing that kindness to others.
