About Bianca
Dearest Community, allow me the opportunity to introduce myself as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with Thriveworks Counseling. My name is Bianca Price, and I bring more than 20 years of dedicated service to individuals, youth, couples, and families throughout the state of New Jersey. Throughout my career, I have held multiple roles within the children’s system of care, ranging from direct work with children, families, adults, and couples to various levels of management. This versatility has deepened my appreciation for system partners and for the distinct role and meaningful impact I now have as a Mental Health Therapist.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I use current, evidence-based clinical interventions to create meaningful and lasting change for individuals receiving mental health support. I am proud to offer comprehensive telehealth services and remain committed to providing high quality care, professionalism, and responsiveness to each person’s unique needs.
I am currently accepting new referrals and would be both honored and excited to become your provider of choice. I look forward to collaborating with you as you take the next steps toward making a decision that can positively impact your life. Wishing you all the best!

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I have a genuine passion for service, especially for youth and families impacted by adolescent challenges, socioeconomic hardship, child welfare involvement, and other systemic barriers that contribute to the vulnerabilities of this population. My passion for serving others has guided me throughout my professional journey, leading me to where I am today.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I am especially effective in working with clients who are willing to engage in the counseling process, open to self-reflection, and seeking support for mental, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I want every client to experience genuine compassion, empathy, and unconditional positive regard, which are essential to their healing journey.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can expect to experience empathy, congruence, self-reflection, self-actualization, mutual respect, collaboration, and constructive feedback throughout the counseling process. These elements help support personal growth and meaningful change. During the first session and early stages of the counseling relationship, it is important to establish mutual respect, trust, and congruence. Selfreflection and selfactualization encourage clients to take accountability for their actions while empowering them to grow throughout the counseling process. In these early stages, my focus is to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel comfortable engaging in honest reflection and receiving constructive feedback.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is shaped by my professional journey in behavioral health and my commitment to service as a counselor. I value empathy, compassion, unconditional positive regard, mutual respect, and collaboration. These values help me create a safe and supportive counseling environment where clients can reflect, heal, and grow.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I subscribe to a personcentered approach with each client. This approach emphasizes empathy and supports each client’s growth and development. I tailor therapy by meeting clients where they are, seeking to understand their unique experiences and goals, and using a collaborative approach that promotes growth. I adjust my interventions based on each client’s individual needs while maintaining empathy, respect, and unconditional positive regard throughout the counseling process.
