About Yolanda
I am a dually licensed clinician who has over 16 years experience in clinical social work. My background includes over 20 years in the child welfare system dealing with abuse, neglect, trauma and individual/family issues.
I have assisted my clients with gaining and finding self validation, self-worth and opportunities to engage in self reflection at their own pace. I meet clients where they are at and highlight growth. Recognizing that each person has their own experiences and perceptions and deserve respect and dignity.
We all face challenges that can leave us feeling isolated and in despair, but it’s important to remember that you’re not alone. As a professional clinician, I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and positive environment that places you at the center of your care. I welcome you and look forward to forming a consistent, open partnership with you.
"Empowerment is the goal we will seek together to overcome and manage mental health issues. It can be challenging but support and a compassionate hear is what I offer so please invest in yourself as you engage in this therapeutic journey."
