About Rebecca

I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor in North Carolina with 17+ years of experience delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based behavioral health services across inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings. I am skilled in telehealth, crisis intervention, risk assessment, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support integrated care.

I use an active, warm, conversational style blending CBT, ACT, and DBT. My goal is that you leave with tools and knowledge on how to cope and heal.

The therapeutic relationship is the most important part of therapy. I look forward to and will be honored to work with you on this journey.

Get to know Rebecca

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I encountered grief and loss at a young age, wanted to learn and help others navigate this and other emotional health concerns.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I enjoy working with all ages.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Therapy can be initially slow and steady, with commitment, self compassion and willingness, suddenly you feel better amd symptoms decrease.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

My approach: I use an active, warm, conversational style blending CBT, ACT and DBT therapeutic approaches. My goal is that you leave with tools and knowledge on how to cope and heal.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

I value patience, grace and willingness to learn.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I meet every client wherever they are through a thorough intake, assessing their goals and we proceed from there.
