I work with adults navigating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, PTSD, and major life transitions. I understand that reaching out for counseling can feel overwhelming, especially during seasons of uncertainty or loss. I believe meaningful counseling begins by meeting each person right where they are: with compassion, understanding, and without judgment. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and comfortable being themselves.
I take a collaborative and individualized approach to counseling. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered counseling, solution-focused counseling, and grief counseling to help clients develop coping skills and take steps toward change. I especially enjoy helping clients establish healthy boundaries and navigate grief and life transitions.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mount Olive in Mount Olive, North Carolina. My therapeutic approach combines evidence-based techniques with genuine compassion for each client’s journey. I am committed to walking alongside you as you develop practical tools and move forward with confidence and hope.

"Having personally experienced grief and loss, I have developed a deeper understanding of how significant loss can impact our lives and the importance of processing grief in a healthy way while developing new skills to navigate life’s changes."
What types of clients do you work best with?
Individuals, Adolescents 14-17, Adults 18 and up.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Healing isn’t linear, and therapy isn’t about “fixing” yourself—it’s about creating space to better understand yourself, build new ways of coping, and move toward the life you want, one step at a time.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Together, we may identify goals for therapy and begin noticing patterns in your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and responses to stressful situations. Depending on your needs and the approach we use, we may also begin learning practical strategies to help you manage difficult emotions, cope with stress, improve relationships, or navigate current challenges.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe therapy should be tailored to each person’s unique needs, experiences, strengths, and goals. I take a collaborative and flexible approach, drawing from different therapeutic strategies to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
