About Brittany
As a licensed clinical social worker with over six years of experience, I support individuals ages 12 and up who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, self-image concerns, and life stress. I strive to provide a supportive space where clients can build resilience, gain insight, and feel empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.
My approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and motivational interviewing to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together we will work to develop practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and create realistic steps toward improved wellbeing and personal growth.
Seeking support can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward. When you’re ready, I welcome you to take the next step and begin your journey toward healing and growth.

"As one who has a great deal of experience navigating life's challenges and stressors, resilience and empowerment drives my approach to how I support others through empathy, strength, and hope."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a counselor because I’ve seen firsthand how guidance, support, and a safe space to process challenges can transform lives. My own experiences navigating stress and adversity showed me the power of resilience and empowerment, and inspired me to help others build those same strengths and find hope on their journey.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with those who are ready to explore their thoughts and feelings, build coping skills, and take active steps toward personal growth and lasting change.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing I wish all clients knew is that healing isn’t linear. Progress can come in small steps, and setbacks are a normal part of growth. Therapy is a collaborative space where you are seen, heard, and supported, and every effort you make toward understanding yourself and your experiences is valuable.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can expect the first session to focus on getting to know one another and creating a comfortable, supportive space to begin the process. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, and any goals you may have, while also reviewing important background information to better understand your experiences.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is guided by a strong belief in resilience, empathy, and the importance of meeting people where they are. Having navigated life’s challenges and stressors myself, I value the role that support, selfawareness, and empowerment play in personal growth. These experiences shape my commitment to creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and encouraged.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by taking time to understand each client’s unique experiences, strengths, goals, and challenges. I collaborate with clients to create a personalized approach that may integrate adjusting strategies to match their needs, pace, and comfort level. My goal is to ensure clients feel supported, understood, and actively involved in shaping their path toward growth and meaningful change.
