About Anne
Becoming a therapist was not my first career path; it is my career of choice. My life experiences have included personal struggles that ultimately led me to this profession. I understand the emotional burdens that can keep people feeling stuck. I earned my Master of Social Work from Tulane University and my Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. As a therapist, I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard without judgment. My approach is open and honest, allowing us to work together toward meaningful and lasting change.
I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges using EMDR, CBT, IFS, TF-CBT, and the Gottman Method. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. Together, we build coping skills, process difficult experiences, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I welcome clients of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds. "You are safe with me." My person-centered, trauma-informed approach fosters trust, healing, resilience, and meaningful change. I take time to understand each client's unique story and needs, while maintaining a strong foundation in trauma-informed care. Don't face life alone—healing is possible.

"As a Mental Health Therapist, my mission is to empower you to break the cycle of trauma and adversity by creating a safe, compassionate space where you can explore emotions, build resilience and reclaim your sense of self. "

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
My own life experiences have included challenges, hardships, and personal struggles that ultimately led me to this profession. While I may not know your exact story, I understand the pain, guilt, shame, and emotional burdens that can keep people feeling stuck. These experiences have shaped my belief that healing is possible and has helped me develop a deep sense of compassion, empathy, and understanding for the individuals and families I serve.
What types of clients do you work best with?
Adolescents 12-17, Adults, Adult female, couples, Family. ACE, PTSD, adapting to the environment while still getting your needs met.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Healing is possible. I wish every client knew that seeking therapy is no different than seeking medical care for a physical injury. If you break a leg, you get a cast; if you're struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or life's challenges, you deserve support and treatment. Mental health matters, and you deserve the space, care, and compassion needed to heal and grow.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding your experiences, identifying goals that matter most to you, and creating a supportive path forward where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to heal.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
My person centered approach allows me to get to know each client and their unique life experiences so that we can work together to personalize each individuals needs.
