Aleicha Carter is a Licensed Professional Counselor and ordained minister with 20 years of experience in mental health care and trauma recovery. Aleicha specializes in premarital and marriage counseling, trauma, and sexual dysfunction. Her ideal client is a faith-driven woman or couple seeking deeper healing, emotional restoration, and intimacy with self, others, and God through a safe and compassionate therapeutic space.
Aleicha Carter earned her Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from Jackson State University. She uses a faith-based, client-centered approach and integrates lived experience with clinical skill to support those navigating trauma, relationship challenges, and emotional pain, creating space for honest healing and restoration.
Aleicha invites clients who feel unseen or weighed down by trauma to take a step toward healing. She offers a judgment-free space where faith and emotional wellness coexist. Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
Aleicha Carter became a counselor to be the help she once needed. As a survivor of childhood trauma, abandonment, and emotional pain, she experienced firsthand the healing power of safe, compassionate support. Her calling is to walk with others through their brokenness, integrating faith, clinical care, and lived experience to help them heal and thrive.
