About Vivian
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri with 33 years of experience. My work has included serving as a college professor of counseling and providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in multicultural counseling and have supported clients facing depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, relationship struggles, and communication issues.
I earned my Doctorate in Counselor Education and Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Louis University and a Master’s in General Counseling from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. My approach integrates client-centered, cognitive, and behavioral therapies while tailoring care to meet the needs of children, adolescents, couples, and families.
I aim to provide a supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to create meaningful change. I bring optimism and hope, helping individuals and couples explore challenges with clarity and compassion. My goal is to validate each person’s experiences and walk alongside them as they work toward improved well-being.

"As a well-rounded, culturally sensitive, seasoned woman of color, I have a particular understanding of a variety of mental health needs. In my 30+ years in the profession, I have worked successfully with individuals, couples, and families."
