Get to know Krista
Why did you decide to become a counselor?
My first born son is developmentally disabled. In order to be the best mother I could for him I essentially had to harness the skills of a social worker. While struggling with a pre-med case load and juggling the responsibilities of a being a single mom a good friend pointed out that I was already a social worker. The transition was easy once I realized this was my calling.
