My name is Tony and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I have worked in both group and individual therapy settings with older adolescents and adults of all ages. I have experience helping clients with anxiety, depression, substance-use, ADHD, executive functioning, grief, life transitions, and more, but I am ultimately excited to work with anyone who is feeling stuck or deciding where to start.
I will meet you where you are. I use modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, but these techniques matter less than a trusting therapeutic relationship built over time. Life is already serious enough, so there’s no harm in building rapport with humor and friendly conversation.
Everybody is deserving of patience and compassion, regardless of where you are in life. It is my hope that through relaxed discussion, you can learn to lean into whatever helps you find peace and balance. There is no wrong time to begin therapy, so I invite you to take the next step by making an appointment. I look forward to starting this process with you.

"I believe that therapy is a place for nonjudgmental compassion and that it is never too late for anyone to dedicate time for themself to build the life they want."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a therapist because I believe everyone is deserving of patience, understanding and compassion.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with anyone who is feeling stuck, coping with something unexpected and difficult, or is contemplating a change in life.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
There is no wrong time to start therapy and its not even necessary to be 100% sold on the idea. Everyone's experience is different so everyone's journey will different.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can expect to be heard, and to build rapport and open up at a speed that they are comfortable with. Therapy works best when trust is established, and that can be done through friendly conversation.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I am no stranger to the difficult challenges and emotions that come with being a human going through life. I have found that personal growth takes time and effort, and that with compassionate support, you are capable of more than you think.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
The therapeutic approach will be collaborative. At the end of the day, you decide what you want from therapy and what your goals will be. My job is just to facilitate and support that process.
