I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping people through difficult times.
I completed my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern New Hampshire University. With a lived experience with depression and anxiety, I use my passion and experience to help others cope, utilizing multiple treatment approaches including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing.
When faced with challenges in life, we sometimes need support. I am able to provide a listening ear, a different perspective, and help you learn coping skills. Schedule an appointment today!

Get to know Stephanie
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I absolutely love helping people work through their life challenges and emotions that come with challenges.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I have a passion for working with the LGBT+ population, those struggling with grief, anxiety, and depression
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am most excited to give back to the queer community and to work with those experiencing grief.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
Therapy does not mean you are weak, it means you are human.
What inspires you?
Most of my inspiration comes from seeing successes, no matter how big or small
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
During the first session, I will go over HIPPA rules and regulations, policies that Thriveworks has, and get to know the beginnings of your story; including your concerns, your strengths and weaknesses, and your view of the world around you. I will ask about past trauma you have experienced, as well as your coping skills. The first session is also spent coming up with goals that the client has and what achieving those goals look like.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
The first session is used to get to know the individual and some of their concerns and goals. It is also a time to answer any questions that may arise with the counseling process.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I spend a lot of time with my wife and pets. I love to craft and spend significant time crocheting. I also love to go to the water and meditate.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
One thing that defines me is my compassion for living creatures.
