As a married mother working in mental health, I understand the impact of stress, depression, anxiety, and trauma and the effect they have on everyday life.
Shawna Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 8 years of experience helping adolescents, adults, and couples work through everyday life challenges to live a life they love. Shawna specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, mental disorders, relationship issues, stress management, and behavioral issues. She is a full-time therapist and a full-time mom.
Shawna received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Spring Arbor University. She uses eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy.

I want to be able to be a catalyst for people to be able to implement change in their life.

For me to break the ice with humor.

To make them feel comfortable and know that they will be welcomed back.

I love to laugh- but at appropriate times.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
Netflix, coffee, travel, board games, and nap!
