Get to know Nathan

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I decided to become a counselor out of a deep desire to help others find strength and clarity in times of hardship. Growing up in a community where mental health was often stigmatized, I recognized early on the importance of compassionate support and the impact of having someone to genuinely listen and guide. Witnessing the positive change that empathy and understanding can bring, I felt called to be that steady support for others.

What types of clients do you work with best?

My ideal client is someone ready to invest in their own growth and open to exploring new perspectives no matter how difficult it may seem. I enjoy working with adults, adolescents, and families who may be facing challenges like anxiety, grief, or life transitions and are looking for a supportive partner in their journey.

What type of clients are you most excited to work with?

What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?

During the first session we will set initial goals and discuss my approach, creating a collaborative plan that feels right for you. This session is all about building trust, so you feel comfortable, supported, and empowered from the very start.

What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
