About Provider

About Nadia

I have been a cognitive behavioral therapist for over ten years. My passion is seeing families experience healing and restoration. I specialize in working with people with relationship problems, low or poor self-esteem, depression, or complications from ADHD symptoms. I also offer faith-based counseling. My background includes work with an evidence-based family therapy called PMTO. I also work with both children and adults with trauma. I offer support to families that are currently separated and seeking skills for reunification.

My practice consists of a strength-based, empathetic, and empowering therapeutic style. I meet people where they are and allow them to move at their own pace with support and encouragement to anchor them.

Life is difficult right now and really hard to maneuver. If you are looking for a safe space to heal with confidence and support; I welcome you to join me in taking your first step on your journey to new beginnings.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

To help provide support and healing to those that are hurting from mental illness.

What types of clients do you work best with?

Families with relationship problems, persons with depression, or low selfesteem, and ADHD.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Healing is possible if they don't give up on themselves or the process.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

Connection, a chance to state their desires for therapy, empathy, and strength-based support.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

I have a history of dysfunction in my family during childhood, struggles with selfesteem, depression, and educational/ life complications from ADHD sx’s that allow me to connect and wholeheartedly empathize from shared experience.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I always allow them to tell their story and I continually connect with their storyline to help them meet the needs they desire.
