About Jenna
I'm a Licensed Social Worker (LMSW-C) with over 6 years of experience. I enjoy helping children, adolescents, and adults through their challenges and stressors in life. I specialize in depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, PTSD, and trauma. I completed my Master's degree in Social Work at the University of Michigan. Throughout my career, I've worked with a wide range of individuals that has equipped me with a profound understanding of the challenges and barriers faced by individuals.
I utilize an array of treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and motivational interviewing.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I wanted to become a counselor back when I was in high school. I enjoyed making a difference in others lives by helping them through their challenges in life. I find fulfillment in providing support, guidance, and empowerment to others.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I enjoy working with a wide range of clients facing differing challenges in life. I enjoy working different age groups as well.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I work with each client to create a treatment plan that works the best for their needs. We work together to create their goals and how to reach their goals that best meet each client where they are at.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
During the first therapy session one could expect connection building, as well as questions regarding your background. We would also work on establishing things that you would like to work on in therapy moving forward.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients knew that therapy is a safe place to be. I enjoy listening to clients stories and am non-judgmental regarding all challenges one may face
