Jamie Campeau is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with over 15 years of experience in the behavioral health field. She enjoys working with all ages, ethnicities, and orientations. She has years of experience with stress management, trauma, grief and loss, postpartum depression, infertility challenges, anxiety, and depression.
Jamie graduated from Michigan State University with a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work. She utilizes multiple treatment approaches including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, EMDR, and DBT skills.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
My 10th grade psychology class introduced me to the mental and behavioral health fields and it all just clicked for me. I have stayed the course since then, with ever-growing passion for the work.
What types of clients do you work with best?
Women and men with anxiety between the ages of 20 and 60.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
Motivated individuals.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish all clients knew that they have immeasurable value and that they matter.

What inspires you?
My daughter.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
They can expect to be put at ease with some down-to-earth conversation about what their goals are for therapy and some basic boundaries that are expected in any strong therapeutic alliance.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
The beginnings of a good rapport and an assessment of their needs/wants.
