About Ashley
Hi, I'm Ashley, an LLMSW passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I strive to create a safe space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and client-centered, helping individuals build healthier coping skills, improve self-awareness, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
I use a compassionate, client-centered approach that integrates strengths-based therapy, CBT, and trauma-informed care. I help clients build coping skills, improve self-awareness, and navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges in a supportive, nonjudgmental space focused on growth and healing.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate life's challenges alone. I am committed to creating a supportive space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered, and I would be honored to be part of your journey toward healing and growth.

"As someone passionate about mental health and helping others heal, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be themselves and work toward meaningful change. "

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I decided to become a counselor because I have always been passionate about helping others feel supported, understood, and less alone during difficult times. I saw how much healing can happen when people have a safe space to openly share their experiences without judgment, and I wanted to be someone who could provide that support while helping individuals build confidence, coping skills, and hope for the future.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adults ages 18+ who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and trauma. I especially enjoy working with clients who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to start, and I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and goals.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish all clients knew that healing is not always linear, and progress does not mean being perfect. Therapy is a space where you can show up exactly as you are without judgment, and even small steps toward understanding yourself and building healthier coping skills can lead to meaningful change over time.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they can share at their own pace. In the first session and early stages of therapy, we will focus on getting to know one another, discussing your concerns, exploring your goals, and building a strong therapeutic relationship. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported while we begin identifying strengths, coping strategies, and meaningful areas for growth.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and the belief that every person deserves to feel heard, supported, and valued. I value creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore their experiences and emotions. My experiences working with individuals from diverse backgrounds have strengthened my understanding of the importance of compassion, resilience, and meeting clients where they are in their healing journey.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I believe therapy is not onesize-fits-all, so I tailor my approach based on each client’s individual experiences, goals, strengths, and comfort level. I work collaboratively with clients to understand what they need most and adjust interventions, coping strategies, and therapeutic techniques to best support their personal growth, healing, and long-term success.
