About Phoebe
I am a mental health counselor with 3 years of experience supporting individuals seeking greater self-understanding, meaning, and connection in their lives. I work with clients navigating life transitions, stress and anxiety, identity exploration, and relationship concerns involving family, friends, and partners. I strive to create an affirming, inclusive, and supportive space where clients of all races, identities, neurotypes, and genders feel seen and respected.
I earned my master’s degree in mental health counseling from Salem State University. I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy, helping clients explore their experiences, relationships, and life stories. My work considers both mind and body, while honoring the role of culture, context, and personal values in the healing process.
Together, we will work to help you better understand yourself, feel more grounded, and build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. I aim to support growth that feels self-directed, meaningful, and empowering, while helping you harness your strengths and create lasting, positive change. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey.

"I support clients in exploring their personal experiences and sociocultural context, empowering them to cultivate authentic, fulfilling, and meaningful lives."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I'm a counselor because I care deeply about helping people feel seen, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. I’m inspired by the uniqueness and universality of each person's experience, and the ways reflection and growth can positively impact not only their lives but also the lives of those around them.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with individuals seeking greater self-understanding, meaning, and fulfillment. I support clients navigating life transitions, identity, relationships, or stress and anxiety, providing a collaborative, affirming space to explore, grow, and create meaningful change.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Healing isn't about having all the answers or “fixing” yourself—it's about exploring your experiences, honing your strengths, and creating change in ways that feel authentic to you. Therapy can be challenging at times, yet it also offers opportunities for clarity, hope, and inner peace.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In your first session, we’ll focus on understanding your experiences, your goals, and what brings you to therapy. Early sessions are a chance to build trust, reflect on patterns, and start creating a trusting and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is guided by compassion, curiosity, and a belief in the inner wisdom of every person. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I draw on an understanding of both individual experiences and the sociocultural contexts that shape them to help clients explore their identities, relationships, and life challenges.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by listening closely to each client’s story and goals. Together, we explore what feels most relevant and meaningful, using approaches that honor your experiences and strengths. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I aim to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered.
