About Provider

About Margaret

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 29 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. Over the years, I have worked with clients facing depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions, helping them rediscover balance and meaning. My approach emphasizes compassion, collaboration, and empowerment as I guide clients toward emotional healing, resilience, and growth. My focus is on helping clients identify patterns, strengthen coping strategies, and build self-awareness that fosters confidence in navigating life’s complexities.

I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Salem State College and have dedicated my career to creating safe, inclusive spaces where clients feel heard and understood. I draw from evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques to support lasting change.

Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of courage, and I honor that bravery. I am committed to providing a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel supported in your journey toward healing. Together, we will explore your goals, uncover your strengths, and create a plan for meaningful progress.

Get to know Margaret

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

That even though sometimes it can be hard, it is worth doing because the benefits are incredible and can be life-changing.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

In the first session, I'll share a bit about myself and invite clients to do the same, as building comfort and understanding clients' reasons for seeking therapy is paramount to me. Early sessions will continue to establish and build on this foundation.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I get to know each client through a conversation about their challenges, what they want to build on, and what goals they have for their future.
