I had a great experience, getting set up was easy and it was so nice to have someone help me figure out what providers take my insurance, who had openings in their schedules, and who might be a good fit for me.

I have always looked up to my mother who is also a social worker. I valued the work she did and discovered my love for helping others. I am a very social and outgoing person, who loves to spend time with others. I know how important mental health is and it is something I deeply care about. Therapy is very needed, and i truly enjoy helping others.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with adults looking to work on themselves and show a desire to grow.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am most excited to work with clients who are looking to establish healthier self-care habits, and a balanced routine.

One thing I wish clients knew is that change doesn’t always happen over night, but consistency and willingness is how one can truly see self-growth.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I have always heard positive feedback about Thriveworks, and know a few friends who receive counseling through Thriveworks! I love that this is a widely growing company that truly cares about the importance of mental health.
What inspires you?
Seeing clients address personal issues and reach milestones.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
Clients can expect a safe space to express why they have chosen therapy, what goals they are working toward, and what they are looking to get from it, while ensuring client safety and that the therapeutic relationship is a good fit.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
I would like to make sure I am able to help the client with what they are looking for from therapy, and ensure their safety while establishing a level of comfort.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first counseling session?
I would like clients to know that I am a friendly and approachable person. I am a good listener and here to help guide the client to get to where they want to be.

I am energetic and can be very silly at times.
Can you tell us about a success you had with a client?
I worked with a client who was in denial regarding their addiction and correlated mental health issues. I was able to establish rapport with the client, educate the client and their family regarding their disease, and help the client find the motivation to work through their treatment and accountability with goal setting. The client successfully completed the program and went on to work at a treatment center.
