About Elizabeth
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with 13 years of experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I support teens and adults navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, substance use, prenatal and postpartum concerns, and major life transitions. I am passionate about helping clients feel less overwhelmed and more empowered as they work toward meaningful and lasting change.
I earned my master’s degree in community and counseling psychology from Sage Graduate School. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and intentional, grounded in trauma-informed care. I utilize evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most powerful agents of change. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can strengthen coping skills, deepen self-awareness, and reconnect with your values. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and inner peace.

"As a survivor of many adverse childhood experiences, I have an authentic understanding of the impact trauma can have throughout our lives, and the healing that is possible in safe, non-judgmental therapy."
Get to know Elizabeth
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a therapist following my own support in therapy as a child. I learned first hand, undoubtedly, that therapy changed the trajectory of my life towards wholeness. It is important to me that I create spaces of healing for others.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who show up, are afraid to show up, and aren’t sure yet how they feel about therapy. Truly any level of readiness, I honor and meet you there.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing I wish all clients gave credit to, about their healing process, is that you’ve been on it for a long time, and your effort matters. Often, our way of managing pain or difficulties, needs updating. Starting or reengaging in therapy, is the next chapter with support.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
I believe that the greatest agent of change, is the relationship between client and therapist. In our first sessions, clients can expect to get to know each other, build rapport, explore any immediate difficulties, and explore desired change short and long term.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
Experiencing adversity and significant loss in childhood, has directly informed my values as a therapist which include: authenticity, kindness, empathy, integrity, and curiosity.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I honor each clients readiness and pace for therapy while offering insight and support.
