What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I'm most excited to work with clients who are looking for a strength-based, honest perspective. I love working openly with my clients and learning as much as I can about them so I can use that knowledge to walk beside them towards healing.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish all clients knew how strong they truly are, and how they use their strengths every day to support them in moving forward. I also wish all clients knew how to speak to themselves with the same compassion and understanding they use when speaking with a loved one.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
The first session is a wonderful opportunity for us to start getting to know each other. I aim to provide a safe, calm, space and will always remain free of judgements. I like to come into the room with curiosity, encouragement, and understanding.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
We will start by reviewing the informed consent and client rights and responsibilities to see if you have any questions. This is your treatment and you deserve to have all of the information upon starting the work! I will also start to ask questions about your background, what brings you to therapy, what your strengths and passions are, and what your goals are.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
I love to play video games, spend time with my Dalmatian/Greyhound, journal, and watch comic book movies.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
I am extremely loyal and honest.
