About Ashley
Hi, I'm Ashley. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts with over ten years of experience as a therapist, supporting adults through anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, life transitions, stress, relationships, family challenges, and other life changes. I work with people who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or uncertain about what comes next and are looking for support, understanding, and practical ways to move forward.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. Together, we’ll explore your concerns, recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build strategies that fit your values and goals. I’ll help you better understand yourself while supporting meaningful, lasting change.
Starting therapy can feel uncertain, but you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. I’ll meet you where you are and provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood and work toward meaningful change. When you’re ready, I invite you to take that next step.

"I believe feeling truly understood is an important part of therapy, and I strive to create a space where adults feel supported as they navigate life's challenges, explore patterns, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others."

I like Ashley. She is very nice and remembers the things we talked about in our previous sessions. She is easy to talk to and to get emotional in front of.

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I’ve always been drawn to understanding people—their experiences, relationships, strengths, and the things that can make life feel difficult or overwhelming. I wanted to create a space where people could feel truly heard and understood while having someone alongside them as they navigate challenges, explore patterns, and create meaningful change. I find it incredibly rewarding to see clients recognize their own strengths and begin building a life that feels more authentic to them.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adults who are open to exploring their experiences, recognizing patterns, and working collaboratively toward meaningful change. I especially enjoy working with people navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, relationship concerns, burnout, grief, self-esteem, or feeling overwhelmed by the demands of life. I also value working with highly sensitive people and individuals who may not always feel fully understood or accepted elsewhere.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by getting to know you as a whole person—your experiences, strengths, values, goals, and what feels most helpful to you. We’ll work together to determine what approaches fit your needs, adjusting along the way as your needs and goals change. My goal is for therapy to feel relevant, collaborative, and useful to your life.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, what you’re hoping to achieve, and what you need from therapy. Early sessions are focused on building trust, understanding patterns, and developing a plan together that feels manageable and meaningful.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. You also don’t have to know exactly what’s wrong or have the “right” words to explain how you feel. Therapy is a process, and progress isn’t always linear. My hope is that you give yourself permission to be where you are while we work together to understand what you need and where you want to go.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is grounded in the values of authenticity, compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s individuality. I believe people are shaped by their experiences, relationships, and environments, and that understanding those influences can help us make sense of patterns and create meaningful change. I also value creating a space where clients can be themselves without judgment and feel genuinely understood.
