Get to know Amanda

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I decided to become a counselor as I grew up watching my father help others. I knew I wanted to do the same and counseling was the right choice for me to do so.

What type of clients are you most excited to work with?

I enjoy working with clients experiencing grief. It is not easy and everyone's journey through grief is unique and I am honored to help these clients on their journey.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew?

That seeking help is not a bad thing and that we all need some help sometimes even when it's hard.

What can clients expect in their first session with you?

Clients can expect active listening to help foster a safe space for the client that is free of judgement.
