What types of clients do you work with best?
I enjoy working with all types of folks, and I work best with those who are open to receiving support and exploring themselves.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
People who are open to the process. Change doesn’t always happen overnight and therapy/healing looks different for everyone. Together we get to find out what it looks like for you.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
You get to lead in treatment. I have a lot of skills and education and can offer support and a different perspective, but no one knows you like you do. Therapy gets to be collaborative!
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
The first session is our intake session which will feel more interview style than a typical session. I ask a thousand questions to get a better idea about who you are and what brings you to therapy, and you can get a sense for my style as a therapist. From that point we can work together to get an idea of what you want from treatment and how I can be most supportive.
