Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I wanted to create the kind of safe, empathetic space I once needed on my own journey of growth and self-discovery. Helping others reclaim their strength, navigate life’s challenges, and uncover their resilience is my true passion.
What types of clients do you work with best?
I work best with adults and couples who are ready to explore their stories with honesty and courage. Whether navigating trauma, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or life transitions, I connect deeply with clients who value a compassionate, supportive space to process their experiences, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I’m most energized by clients who are motivated to understand themselves on a deeper level and are open to meaningful change. Whether they’re seeking to heal from past experiences, improve their relationships, or gain clarity in their personal journey, I thrive in supporting individuals ready to explore new perspectives and create fulfilling paths forward.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish all clients knew that their stories, no matter how complex or messy, hold incredible strength and value. The process of understanding and reclaiming those narratives can be transformative, and they already have within them the capacity to create meaningful change.
Why did you choose to practice at Thriveworks?
I chose to practice at Thriveworks because of their commitment to creating accessible, supportive, and high-quality mental health care. Their values align with my own belief in fostering meaningful client connections and providing a space where people feel genuinely cared for as they navigate their journey toward healing and growth.
What inspires you?
I’m inspired by the resilience of the human spirit and the courage it takes for people to confront their challenges and embrace growth. Witnessing clients transform their pain into strength and rediscover their potential motivates me to show up with unwavering presence and compassion every day.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming space where they feel safe to share as much or as little as they’re comfortable with. Together, we’ll explore what brought them to therapy, their goals, and how I can best support them, all while setting the foundation for a trusting and collaborative relationship.
What do you want to accomplish with an individual in their first session?
In the first session, my focus is on understanding what feels most important to the client and creating a space where they feel safe, respected, and heard. This time is about them—what they want to share, what they hope to gain, and what they need to feel supported moving forward.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
Clients should know that I prioritize creating a space where they feel completely safe, respected, and valued. My approach is compassionate, culturally informed, and deeply focused on understanding each person’s unique experiences and needs. I’m here to meet them where they are, without judgment, and support them in a way that feels authentic and meaningful.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
In my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga and pilates, which help me stay grounded and connected to myself. I love getting creative with crochet projects and building intricate book nooks that bring tiny worlds to life. Hosting dinners for family and friends is another favorite pastime—it’s my way of creating connection and sharing joy with the people I care about.
What's one thing about you that defines you (non-professional)?
One thing that defines me is my love for creating meaningful connections, whether it’s through hosting dinners for loved ones, crafting thoughtful gifts, or simply sharing stories that bring people closer together. It’s the relationships I nurture that truly shape who I am.
