Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a therapist because I am deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate and heal from unresolved trauma. Witnessing the resilience of children, adolescents, and adults inspires me every day. I believe that everyone has the potential to overcome their past and create a fulfilling future. By providing a safe and supportive space, I aim to empower my clients to explore their experiences, understand their emotions, and ultimately find healing and growth.
What types of clients do you work with best?
As a therapist, I primarily work with children and families facing adverse family circumstances and challenges. My clients often experience a range of difficulties, including trauma, behavioral issues, and communication barriers. I am dedicated to supporting these families in navigating their unique experiences, fostering resilience, and enhancing their relationships. By providing a compassionate and understanding environment, I strive to empower both children and their families to overcome obstacles and build healthier dynamics.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I am most excited to work with a diverse population of clients, particularly through telehealth services. This innovative approach allows me to connect with individuals who may have previously faced barriers to accessing behavioral health care. I am passionate about delivering support to those in underserved areas, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has the opportunity to receive quality mental health services. The flexibility and accessibility of telehealth empower me to reach clients from various backgrounds and help them on their journey toward healing and personal growth.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
One thing I wish clients knew is that therapy is a safe space designed for learning, growth, and healing. It is a judgment-free environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly, without fear. In this supportive setting, you can gain valuable insights, develop coping strategies, and work through challenges at your own pace. Remember, the therapeutic journey is a collaborative process, and I am here to walk alongside you as you navigate your path toward personal transformation.
