I strive to create a space where clients feel both supported and challenged. I believe meaningful growth happens when clients are not only heard, but also guided toward understanding their patterns, building insight, and taking intentional steps toward change.

I have experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), TrustBased Relationship Intervention (TBRI), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I am currently receiving training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR ).

I feel every person is different, and I strive to make everyone feel welcome!

"I create a warm, judgment-free space where clients can feel seen, understood, and supported as they work through life’s challenges and reconnect with who they are."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

I decided to become a counselor because I experienced a difficult childhood and a lifechanging event in college that inspired me to better understand my own experiences. As I gained that understanding, I realized I also wanted the knowledge and skills to help others find healing, hope, and a path forward.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I work well with all clients.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

One thing I wish client's knew is that healing is a process, and it takes time and commitment.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

During our first session, you can expect me to create a warm, judgment-free space where we can begin getting to know one another, discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your history and goals, and identify how I can best support you moving forward.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

My own experiences navigating a difficult childhood and a lifechanging event in college have shaped the compassion, resilience, and authenticity I bring to my work. I value creating a safe, judgment-free space where clients feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered to better understand themselves and move toward healing.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I tailor therapy by taking the time to understand each client’s unique experiences, strengths, goals, and preferences. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches and adjust the pace and direction of therapy to create a collaborative experience that feels supportive, practical, and meaningful.
