I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor serving Louisiana, specializing in supporting young adults and individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and social isolation. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and culturally responsive space where clients can feel understood, build self-awareness, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful change. My goal is to meet each client where they are while helping them recognize their strengths and move toward greater resilience, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
I use an integrative, strengths-based approach that combines evidence-based techniques with genuine curiosity and compassion. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build practical coping skills, and develop greater self-awareness and emotional resilience. I tailor therapy to your needs while creating a space where you can feel safe, heard, and empowered to grow.
You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Wherever you are in your journey, you deserve a space where you feel heard, valued, and supported. I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward healing and a life that feels more aligned with who you are. When you’re ready, I invite you to schedule an appointment and take that first step.

"As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe that healing begins with feeling truly seen and understood, and I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where you can reconnect with yourself, work through life’s challenges, and develop the tools to move forward with greater confidence and selfawareness."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor because I believe people deserve the opportunity to understand themselves beyond the experiences that have shaped them. I’m especially passionate about helping individuals recognize how childhood experiences, trauma, family dynamics, and unmet emotional needs can continue to influence relationships, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and patterns of behavior in adulthood. I want to help clients make sense of their experiences, develop healthier ways of coping, and realize that their past does not have to define their future.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with individuals who are ready to better understand themselves, heal from past experiences, and create meaningful changes in their lives. I especially enjoy working with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma from childhood or other life experiences, relationship and family challenges, life transitions, identity and selfesteem concerns, and neurodivergence. I work well with clients who want a collaborative, compassionate space to explore their experiences and develop practical tools for moving forward.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew that healing is not about becoming a different person or erasing the past; it’s about understanding yourself with greater compassion. The experiences you had, especially in childhood, may have shaped how you navigate the world, but they do not have to determine your future. Therapy is a space to understand those patterns, honor your experiences, and learn new ways of responding, connecting, and caring for yourself.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, my priority is building rapport and creating a comfortable, judgment-free space where you feel safe being yourself. We’ll get to know one another, discuss what brought you to therapy, identify your goals, and talk through what you can expect from the counseling process. I’ll explain how we’ll work together and answer any questions you may have. In the early stages, we’ll focus on building trust, understanding your experiences and patterns, and developing an approach that feels supportive and meaningful to you. You never have to share more than you’re ready to.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is informed by the belief that every person’s experiences shape how they understand themselves, their relationships, and the world around them. I value empathy, authenticity, cultural humility, and creating a space where clients feel genuinely heard rather than judged. I recognize that experiences from childhood, family dynamics, trauma, and life circumstances can influence how we cope and connect as adults. These values guide me in meeting clients where they are, honoring their individual experiences, and supporting them in developing greater selfunderstanding and healthier ways of moving forward.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I tailor therapy by first getting to know each client as an individual, including their experiences, strengths, communication style, needs, and goals. I recognize that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I adjust my methods and pace based on what feels most supportive and effective for each person. I collaborate with clients throughout the process, regularly checking in and making adjustments as their needs and goals evolve.
