I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, therapist and author with more than 13 years of experience in private practice, supporting adults through life's difficult and often unexpected seasons. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, relationship concerns, stress, and major life transitions. Many come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about what comes next. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space to gain insight, develop practical tools, and move toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I draw from cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approaches, tailored to your needs. I especially enjoy helping clients navigate grief and loss, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
Life can bring seasons that leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next, but you don't have to navigate them alone. Therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself and move forward in a way that feels meaningful to you. Wherever you are in your journey, I'll meet you there with compassion, curiosity, and respect.

"With more than a decade in private practice, I’ve learned that meaningful change often begins when people feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported as they discover their own path forward."
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a therapist because I’ve always been drawn to understanding people and their stories, their experiences, and the ways life shapes who we become. I believe there is tremendous value in having a space where you can speak honestly, feel truly heard, and explore your experiences without judgment. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people during some of their most difficult seasons and witnessing their resilience, growth, and ability to create meaningful change. That continues to be what I value most about this work.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with adults and couples navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, grief and loss, stress, or periods of uncertainty and change. I enjoy working with clients who want to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and move through difficult seasons with greater clarity and confidence. My style is collaborative and supportive, while also helping clients recognize patterns, build practical skills, and make meaningful changes that align with the life and relationships they want to create.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I wish every client knew that therapy isn’t about having someone tell you what to do or “fix” you. It’s a collaborative process that gives you space to better understand yourself, recognize patterns, explore new perspectives, and discover what works for you. Healing and growth aren’t always linear, and progress can look different from one person to the next. Sometimes meaningful change begins simply by having a safe place to be honest about where you are and where you’d like to go.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, clients can expect a relaxed, conversational space where we’ll begin getting to know one another. I’ll invite them to share what brought them into therapy, what’s been happening in their lives, and what they hope might be different as a result of our work together. I will reinforce that they don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. In the early stages of therapy, we’ll identify goals, explore patterns and experiences that may be affecting their lives.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My practice is grounded in compassion, authenticity, respect, and the belief that our experiences help shape us but do not have to define what comes next. Life has taught me that change, loss, relationships, and unexpected transitions can challenge even the strongest among us.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Therapy does not look the same for all. I take time to understand each client’s experiences, strengths, challenges, goals, and what they hope to gain from therapy. From there, I draw from different therapeutic approaches and practical strategies based on what fits the individual or couple in front of me.
