About Jacky
I'm an LCSW with 11 years of experience working with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges and life transitions. As a blind/disabled professional, I bring a grounded, real-world perspective shaped by adaptability and resilience. I work with people who feel alone, disconnected or stuck and want a clearer understanding of themselves so they can move forward.
My approach is thoughtful, flexible and direct. I draw from trauma-informed care, parts work and practical strategies to help you understand yourself on a deeper level while making real changes. I'm compassionate and supportive, but I'll also challenge you when needed to help you move forward.
If something here resonates, trust that. You don't have to have it all figured out - but you do have to be willing to put in the work.

"I'm a down-to-earth, direct therapist who's not just gonna sit back and nod-I help you connect the dots, make real sense of your patterns and actually create change. Ready when you are! "

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I believe being a Therapist is my calling and purpose in life. I acquired a disability at my early teen years and it has shaped me into the person I am today. I want to listen, to help, most importantly--to actually make a difference.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are ready for change but just don't know how to just yet.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
It's not just about talking and processing, real change comes from action.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
The first session is our intro--I'll ask intake questions, introduce myself, my style and discuss what your goals are, even if you don't really know what they are yet.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I was introduced to therapy at the age of 14 following a traumatic and life changing accident in my early teen years. I have sat across from a therapist, so I know what kind of therapist I DON'T want to be. I value integrity, so I aim to be myself with a side of insight and challenge.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I like to tell my clients therapy is like driving a car-- you are the driver while I fill the role of a compass. I ask for your feedback because I want to know if a particular intervention is working--and if it isn't, well, I change my approach until it does.
