About Colleen
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with 27 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. Over the years, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, adults, and couples across private practices, schools, and Christian counseling agencies. My experience has allowed me to support clients managing depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and family conflict while fostering growth, understanding, and resilience through compassionate care.
I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Francis. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, collaborative, and tailored to each client. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems approaches to promote healing, strengthen relationships, and build lasting emotional wellness.
Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of courage and self-care. Whether you’re beginning your healing journey or returning to therapy, I’m here to provide a safe, supportive space where you can share, reflect, and grow. Together, we’ll work toward the clarity, balance, and strength you deserve. I look forward to supporting your next chapter.

"Having experienced trauma in my childhood, I sought therapy as an adult to assist me in better understanding how my thoughts, feelings, and behaviors were counterproductive to living the "perspective" I envisioned."
Get to know Colleen
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I had unresolved trauma from my childhood. As an adult I sought therapy to help me process and understand my actions, feelings, and thoughts.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
I would love for those struggling with mental health challenges to believe there are people and places that are safe and people who are nonjudgmental and will symbolically " walk beside you" during your healing journey.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
At the onset of therapy, which entails the first 2-4 sessions, you can expect for the groundwork of therapy to be discussed, such as your concerns, challenges, and the reason or your feelings on seeking therapy. Additionally, we'll discuss past and current happenings in your life so that I can gain a better understanding of your perspective and conversely, you will gain a better understanding of my therapeutic process.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
As a person-centered provider, I prioritize your perspective and provide a safe environment for you to explore your perspective.
