About Chelsie
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 9 years of experience. I’m passionate about helping adults and teens navigate challenges such as addiction recovery, PTSD, anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions. I take a compassionate, client-centered approach that prioritizes your goals and helps you grow at your own pace. I also draw on my training in family therapy to strengthen connections and improve communication, especially for families facing behavioral issues, trauma, or transitions.
I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. I use evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs, combining practical tools with empathy to support healing and resilience. My work focuses on helping clients process trauma, manage anxiety, and confidently adapt to change in ways that feel empowering.
My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Whether you’re seeking recovery, coping with PTSD, or strengthening family dynamics, I’m here to walk alongside you with expertise and care. Healing is possible, and I welcome you to take the next step toward change.

"My approach is rooted in compassion and collaboration, where you don't have to face life's challenges alone."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a therapist because of a guiding truth that has stayed with me: people don't want to be fixed--they want to be seen. It is a true honor to earn the trust of those who share their story, and I feel privileged to walk alongside my clients as they navigate their journey toward healing.
What types of clients do you work best with?
My experience spans working with clients from early adolescence through adulthood (ages 11-64), and I recognize the unique challenges and strengths that accompany every stage of life.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Healing isn't always neat or easy--it can feel uncomfortable at times. But you won't have to face it alone; I'll be there to support you every step of the way.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
Clients can look forward to a supportive relationship where we build rapport, navigate challenges, and highlight the strengths that make them resilient.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I strive to meet every client with unconditional positive regard, honoring and respecting their autonomy throughout the therapeutic process.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
My goal is to meet clients exactly where they are, so together we can build a path forward toward healing and growth.
