What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
One thing I want all clients to know is that you are strong, have coping skills, and are capable of navigating through life's challenges. Even in the most difficult times, you possess the inner strength to overcome and grow. Sometimes, we just need a little support to rediscover that strength, and I’m here to help guide you on that journey.
What inspires you?
I am deeply inspired by human resilience—the incredible ability people have to adapt, heal, and thrive even in the face of adversity. I’ve seen firsthand how difficult times can shape individuals, but also how they can emerge stronger, more aware, and more capable of facing life’s challenges. My own experiences with social workers showed me the importance of support, understanding, and being there for one another. It inspired me to pursue counseling, so I can help others recognize their inner strength and guide them as they build resilience in their own lives. I believe everyone has the capacity to heal and grow, and witness to that journey inspires me every day.
What can clients expect in their first session with you?
In your first session with me, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we’ll take the time to get to know each other. I’ll answer any questions you may have about the counseling process and go over what to expect during our time together. My primary focus will be listening to you—understanding your unique experiences and goals, so we can work collaboratively to create a plan that meets your needs. Together, we’ll begin the process of exploring what you hope to achieve in counseling and how we can best move forward.
What should clients know about you before scheduling a first session?
I am here to listen without judgment and to support you through your journey in a way that respects your unique experiences. My approach is collaborative—together, we’ll work to understand your goals and create a path forward that feels comfortable and empowering for you. I am deeply committed to creating a safe, empathetic space where you can feel heard and supported as we work together toward healing and growth.
What do you do for fun/on your time off?
For fun, I love to travel and explore new places, as well as spend time outdoors enjoying the beauty of nature. Spending time near our beautiful Lake Michigan is something that brings me so much happiness—it has a way of changing everything when I see it. The peacefulness of the water and the surrounding nature always helps me feel grounded and refreshed. I also enjoy watching sunsets, which are a reminder of life’s simple, beautiful moments. Last but not least, I cherish spending time with family and friends, making memories and sharing experiences
