About Eleanor
I am a licensed psychologist with 13 years of experience supporting clients as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I work with adults from diverse backgrounds and strive to create a compassionate, collaborative space where you can feel understood and supported. My goal is to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
I earned my doctorate in psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University Chicago. My approach is client-centered and warm, offering a nonjudgmental environment where you can express your thoughts and emotions freely. I integrate goal setting, emotional processing, and evidence-based strategies to support healing and growth.
I value the trust clients place in me and deeply appreciate the chance to support real-life change. I am committed to helping you build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to move forward with purpose. I would be honored to join your support system and work with you to achieve the growth and well-being you deserve.

"As a client-centered psychologist who grew up around diversity and values the uniqueness of each individual, I am genuine and empathic with all client populations and equipped to provide care that will produce a positive outcome."
Get to know Eleanor
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I'm a great listener, truly care about others, and find joy and meaning in being able to help others.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are openly reflective of their lives and experiences and are in need of emotional support and validation.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Therapy can benefit everyone! It takes time, everyone's process is different, but your efforts will pay off.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session, I will conduct an interview to collect as much information as I can about you. I cannot learn everything however in just an hour, so the early stages of therapy are continuing to get to know you- your background, life experiences, and goals for therapy- as well as building a working relationship.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
I have a passion for helping others and wish to bring positivity and care to all those I cross paths with in life. Being kind makes all the difference! I lost my brother tragically 8 years ago- this loss has greatly expanded my understanding of grief and loss and enhanced my ability to provide support for those grieving old and new losses.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
By collecting the client's history, details of current issues, and goals for therapy, I am able to formulate a treatment plan and approach to helping them. I meet clients where they are and take into consideration their background and identity.
