About Judith
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 13 years of experience, licensed in both Nevada and Idaho. I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings, including family homes, community mental health centers, and private practice. I specialize in helping clients work through challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on building resilience.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Nevada, where I developed a strong foundation in trauma-informed care. I use approaches such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and internal family systems to guide the healing process.
Clients often share that they leave sessions feeling lighter, more grounded, and better equipped to handle life’s challenges. I create a safe space where you feel understood and supported. Together, we can strengthen your coping skills, improve relationships, and build confidence so you feel empowered to bring meaningful change into your daily life.

"At the heart of my work is creating a safe space where people feel understood and supported as they move toward healing and growth."
Get to know Judith
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I think it became a mix of early life experiences within my own family dynamics and the values I was taught.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with clients who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives and who value a collaborative, team-based approach. I believe trust and partnership are the foundation of growth, and I strive to create a space where we can work together toward your goals.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
One thing I wish all clients knew about therapy is that the process works best when you actively engage. What you put into it is what you’ll get out of it.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
We will be working on building trust and getting to know each other. As well as working together to understand your goals and needs.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
Depending on your needs, I may use EMDR to help process difficult experiences, CBT to build new coping skills, DBT-informed strategies for emotional regulation, or Internal Family Systems to explore and heal inner parts of yourself. I also like incorporating creative, hands-on exercises inspired by play and art therapy when it helps clients connect in new ways. Above all, I adapt to what feels most helpful for you. As a client, you can discuss your desired therapeutic approaches, your voice matters in this process and we will work together on this.
