Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
Growing up I saw school counselors and always felt this was a special calling that I felt a deep passion for.
What types of clients do you work best with?
I work best with client's who are willing to take the first step and allowing me to walk with them on the steps thereafter if need be.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I have a clear understanding that everyone's situation, personality and receptiveness is not the same. With this in mind I listen to the client's needs and adjust to their unique situation according to the client's level of comfort.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
During our initial stages I will listen to your story, input and build a trusting relationship which can be built upon.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
Seeking therapy is a sign of clear stable emotional processing whereby the individual is taking out time for self care and mental wellness.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My "No Judgement Zone" values will place a major part in our sessions to ensure a safe place to discuss your thoughts, feelings and concerns.
