About Madeline
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 7 years of experience in community mental health, hospital mental health, and private practice. I’m passionate about supporting adolescents, teens, adults, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. Many of my clients feel burdened by anxiety, self-doubt, or struggles in relationships and want a safe place to rest, heal, and grow. Together, we focus on building self-esteem, setting healthy boundaries, and rediscovering joy, so you can feel more confident and at peace in daily life.
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University. I use a client-centered, trauma-informed approach that blends cognitive behavioral therapy, Gottman methods, and experiential therapy. I help clients shift unhelpful thought patterns, explore emotions, and develop assertive communication and conflict resolution skills.
When you’re ready to lay down the weight you’ve been carrying, I’ll walk beside you. You don’t have to climb this mountain alone; I provide a safe, supportive space where you can bring whatever you’re facing. My goal is to offer empathy, hope, and healing as we navigate the path toward peace together. Schedule your first appointment today.

"I am a compassionate therapist who values open, collaborative conversations and walks alongside teens, adults, couples, and families to help them feel truly seen, supported, and empowered in their growth."

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I became a counselor to make a positive impact on my community one person and one relationship at a time. We’re in this together, and I want to do my part to make the world a safer, kinder place.
What types of clients do you work best with?
People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome, I only ask that my clients are active in participating in the therapeutic process. I work best with clients who want to make a change and are willing to put in the effort it takes to see it through. For my younger clients, we can do the best work when their families are engaged and active in the therapeutic process as well.
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
You are the boss in the therapy room. You are the expert on you and what your goals are, and you are an important part of the therapeutic process. I am a coach and a guide with skills, expertise, and knowledge to help support this process.
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
In our first session I will do my best to get a clear picture of where you are, where you’ve been, and where you’d like to go. We will collaborate to identify the path we can take together to get you there. In the beginning stages of therapy we will focus on cultivating a safe relationship where you feel comfortable, seen, and supported.
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
Some formative experiences for me that have shaped me as a therapist include being a musician, an animal lover, a gardener, a faith-based person, a daughter, a wife, a sister, a student, and a griever. I haven’t lived your story or walked in your shoes, and I keep this in mind as I start to walk beside you and take the role of listener, helper, teacher, and guide.
How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
My number one priority with each of my clients is to see you as the unique and complex person that you are, with a story that’s in the process of unfolding. I approach each of my client’s stories with compassionate curiosity, without judgment, and work with you to identify what treatment style works best for your needs and goals in therapy.
