About Kathryn
Hello! I am Kathryn Cross. I am a compassionate and experienced therapist dedicated to guiding individuals, couples, and families through life's challenges. With a specialized focus on anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment issues, and life transitions, I like to create a supportive and nurturing environment for my clients.
For children, I employ creative and age-appropriate therapeutic techniques, fostering a safe space for expression and growth. My work with adults centers on building resilience and coping strategies, empowering them to navigate life's complexities with confidence.
In couples therapy, I address communication issues, helping partners reconnect and strengthen their bond. I address trust issues and ways to reduce the level of anxiety that exists within the relationship. When it comes to work stress and the level of impact that has on mental health, I work with clients to develop effective stress management techniques that can be beneficial for reducing those symptoms in the workplace.

"I understand that the unpredictability of life can cause one to feel anxious and stressed about what's next, but proper guidance can help ease that anxiety, and provide a clear picture to the answer."

Why did you decide to become a counselor?
I decided to become a counselor mainly because I enjoy talking to people. Originally I began working in this field working with children and I had a passion to assist them through life while growing up. Recently I began working more with adults and that has also brought the same satisfaction of making a difference in someone's life.

Us building a rapport and getting to know one another. Asking questions to all parties and making sure the client understand that they have to put in the work if they want to see a change.

I would like the individual to feel comfortable with my services, and are able to make the decision on if we would be a good fit to work with one another.
