About Provider

About Grace

I am a licensed associate professional counselor (LAPC) with 7 years of experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults. I specialize in anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship concerns, and trauma-related challenges. I work with individuals who are seeking deeper insight, emotional regulation, and a greater sense of balance and fulfillment in their lives.

I have my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University. My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented, blending cognitive-behavioral strategies, attachment-focused work, and trauma-informed care. I help clients build emotional regulation skills, strengthen self-awareness, and develop tools for lasting change.

If you’ve been carrying more than you let others see, you don’t have to do it alone. Healing is possible, and change often begins with one courageous step. When you’re ready, I invite you to schedule a session—I would be honored to walk alongside you in this work.

Get to know Grace

Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?

When I was in high school, I had my own mental health struggles. I decided to start going to therapy, and as I progressed, I started to realize that I wanted to become a counselor myself. Going to therapy, my life completely changed for the better, and I quickly realized that I wanted to help people just like my therapist helped me. I decided in my junior year of high school that I would work towards becoming a counselor.

What types of clients do you work best with?

I’m especially well-suited for clients who are curious about understanding the roots of their patterns, open to both practical tools and deeper insight, and willing to gently challenge themselves in the service of growth. If you value a warm, collaborative relationship where you feel supported and also encouraged to stretch, we’ll likely be a strong fit.

What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?

Sometimes working through deep personal issues can be uncomfortable. Not every session will be sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes therapy can bring up painful emotions that the client will have to face with the support of their therapist.

What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, unhurried space where we begin getting to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what’s bringing you in, what feels most pressing, and what you hope might be different in your life. We’ll also review relevant background information at a pace that feels comfortable, and you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions about my approach or the therapy process. There’s no pressure to “tell everything” right away — we go at a speed that feels safe and manageable for you.

What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?

Both my personal and professional experiences have deeply shaped how I show up as a therapist. I value authenticity, cultural humility, and the belief that every person deserves to feel seen and respected in their full complexity. My own experiences navigating growth, change, and resilience have strengthened my compassion for how hard it can be to ask for help — and how powerful it is when someone feels truly understood.

How do you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?

I tailor therapy by starting with curiosity — taking time to understand your history, cultural background, relationships, strengths, and the specific challenges that bring you in. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, I collaborate with you to clarify your goals and adjust our work based on what feels most supportive and effective.
