About Claire
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 6 years of experience providing mental health care across a variety of settings. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, substance use concerns, mood disorders, and gender dysphoria. I am passionate about supporting individuals who have faced barriers to accessing mental health services and strive to create an inclusive, affirming space for healing and growth.
I earned my master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Columbus State University. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, focusing on identifying individual needs while developing practical strategies for change. I incorporate coping skills, mindfulness-based techniques, and strengths-based interventions to support lasting progress.
If you are feeling overwhelmed or uncertain about your next steps, therapy can provide a supportive place to begin. I work to reduce barriers to care while empowering clients to build skills, confidence, and clarity in their daily lives. I invite you to schedule a confidential session and take the next step in your mental health journey.

"As a woman who has dealt with my fair share of life’s ups and downs, I am passionate about helping others overcome their own ups and downs"
Get to know Claire
Why did you decide to become a counselor or psychiatric provider?
I have always been passionate about education. When I started navigating my own mental health journey, I learned that education is more than just being in a school setting, counseling is education too. Counseling provides education on how to manage mental health struggles and live a more fulfilling life
What types of clients do you work best with?
Adolescents and adults dealing with mood disorders, life stressors, substance dependence and/or grief
What's one thing you wish all clients knew about therapy, mental health, or the healing process?
That choosing to go to therapy does not mean there is something bad or inherently wrong with a person. Going to therapy is a tool for an individual to take their power back and better care for themselves
What can clients expect in their first session with you and in the early stages of therapy?
A welcoming environment that empowers the client to explore their needs and goals in a safe, non-judgmental place
What personal experiences or values inform your practice as a therapist/provider?
My own experiences managing my health and wellness while also striving to be an effective therapist keep me motivated to continue to learn and grow as a mental health therapist
How does you tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs?
I view client goals as fluid and constantly evolving. Every session I check in with my clients to make sure we are on the same page and continuing to work towards the same goals
